Uploading Files (FTP)

WS_FTP (PC): configure the program as follows:

HOST NAME: www.companyname.com OR your IP Address
HOST TYPE: automatic detect (default)
USER ID: username
PASSWORD: yourpassword

Initial Directories:
REMOTE HOST: /usr/var/www/docs/yourcompany
LOCAL PC: (your hard drive directory)

That's all there is to it. From there it's just "point & click" to transfer. Be sure and "check" the "save password" and "auto save config" buttons so you don't have to type in your password and directory each time.

Fetch (Mac): configure the program as follows:

HOST: www.companyname.com OR your IP Address
USER ID: username
PASSWORD: yourpassword
DIRECTORY: /usr/var/www/docs/yourcompany

Click OK. That's all there is to it.

To add files to your new account, click on "Put Files" for a single file, or from the "Remote" menu select "Put file and folders" select the ones you wish to add and click done.
