Unable to connect to a server at XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX on port 80 (socket code 10051)

You may get this message if your ISP is using a proxy server. Call your ISP and get their proxy server information. Once you have that information do the following:

  1. Open your web in FrontPage Explorer.
  2. Click on Tools.
  3. Click on Options.
  4. Click on Proxies.
  5. Enter the proxy information (generally this is the proxy machine name and port #; an example might be proxy.domain.net:8080)
  6. Click on Ok.
